Missionaries
In keeping with Jesus' command to "go and make disciples of all nations", we help to support missionaries around the globe. Although we realise that Blackburn is as great a mission field as any, we take seriously the Lord's command to go to 'all nations'.
We have a monthly offering for missionaries on a Wednesday night. We also have a regularly updated notice board regarding their activities in the church.
Lighthouse International Ministries, India
Blackburn Elim sent funds for a church to be built in India through the agency of L.I.M. Pastor Hallam and his wife, L.I.M.'s directors, visit us in the Autumn to tell us about the developments and challenges they face.

Bible Society
The Bible Society is another organisation Elim Blackburn supports, who seek to tackle 'Bible Poverty' by working to translate the bible into every known tongue and produce it in a variety of media, at affordable prices. You can visit their website by clicking here.
