Alternative Halloween Party

The celebration of Halloween is associated with witchcraft and evil ritual. As Christians, we are commanded to abstain from such practices. (Deuteronomy 18 v9-11, 1 Thessalonians 5 v22). Therefore, on this cold autumn night, we held a party whereby children were set-apart from 'trick-or-treating' and instead were able to play games and win prizes in a safe environment. We also held a fancy dress competition for those who came as Bible characters.

Junior Church Prize Giving

This Sunday morning marked the 11th anniversary of our Junior Church Prize Giving ceremony. Children of various ages received prizes for their attendance achievements in Sunday School classes.
